I must admit I couldn't bring myself to try it. I nearly did, but not being a fan of the bottled version, I didn't think the tapped version would be any better.
When I was a teenager, Newcastle Brown was renowned for its strength and quality. It was given nicknames like "Journey into Space" and many people swore by it (not AT it). The brewery having changed hands more than once since then, I refuse to believe claims that it "hasn't changed". This is no longer the brew we knew and loved!!

Newky Brown on tap in the US is uncomfortably common.
Is it any good?
I didn't try it, but I suspect if the bottled version is anything to go by, the answer would be "NO".
I too was surprised to see it on tap in America, back in 1997.
I tried it, and it was about as enjoyable as the bottles at home. Make of that what you will.
